For many families, the NDIS can be a lifeline — offering support, therapy, and funding that can make a real difference. But the process of accessing and navigating it can feel overwhelming at times. That’s where I can help.
As a psychologist, I work with parents and carers of children with developmental, emotional, or behavioural needs to provide the information and support needed throughout the NDIS journey. This might include:
- Psychological assessments to assist with diagnosis or to support access to funding
- Reviewing existing diagnoses to ensure reports remain accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with your child’s current needs
- Identifying areas for capacity building, such as emotional regulation, communication, social interaction, and daily living skills — and explaining these clearly in reports using NDIS language
- Assessing and documenting risks to help clarify why support is necessary
- Advocating for the right level of services by providing clear, professional reports that communicate your child’s needs compassionately and effectively
It’s not just about paperwork — it’s about making sure families feel understood, supported, and equipped to get the help their child deserves.
If you’re navigating the NDIS and aren’t sure where to start (or what comes next), I’m here to guide you through the process.
